What CareBoard stores

Your email address (used to sign you in), your display name, and the care information your family chooses to enter: timeline entries, tasks, expenses, and the name of the person you care for. We only store what you type in — there are no hidden profiles and no data purchased from anyone else.

Who can see it

Only the members of your family board. Access is enforced at the database level: people outside your family cannot read or change your family's information, and the only way into a family is an invite link from one of its members.

Where it lives

Data is stored with Supabase on servers in the United States, and the app is served by Vercel. Sign-in and reminder emails are delivered by Resend.

Analytics and ads

CareBoard is free, with no ads. We use Plausible, a privacy-friendly analytics tool that does not use cookies and does not track you across the web, to count page views in aggregate. We never sell or share your information with advertisers — or anyone else.

Email

We email you sign-in links when you ask for them and appointment reminders for your family's timeline. That's it — no newsletters, no marketing.

A note on health information

Your family may choose to record health-related notes. Treat CareBoard like a shared family notebook: it is a consumer app, not a medical system, and it is not covered by HIPAA. Please don't store anything your family wouldn't want written down.

Deleting your data

You can delete timeline entries, tasks, and expenses at any time, and leave your family from the Family page — when the last member leaves, the family's data is deleted. To delete your account entirely, email yao83608@gmail.com.
